About Chelsea

Hi, I’m Chelsea. I understand what it means to carry a full plate — and still try to pour into others. As a mom, partner, friend, and Associate Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, I know the pressure of balancing family, career goals, relationships, and the never-ending carpool schedule. I also know that we often give our best to everyone else… and forget to leave space for ourselves.

That’s where therapy comes in.

I believe that therapy is a space to be seen, heard, and reminded that your needs matter too. I bring a warm, compassionate, and calming presence to sessions — while also weaving in humor and lightness when it’s needed most. I often say, “If we can laugh, we’re healing.”

I work with individuals, couples, and families to explore the experiences and dynamics that are no longer serving them — and replace those patterns with ones that feel more connected, aligned, and empowering. In family therapy, I take a close look at the “roles” we all carry: whether assigned (“the helper,” “the short-tempered one,” “the peacekeeper”) or assumed based on family circumstances, these roles can deeply shape how we interact with those closest to us. I help clients uncover these patterns and understand where they come from — because with awareness comes insight, and with insight, the chance to make meaningful change.

In my work with couples, I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where both partners can feel heard. I help couples navigate challenges in communication, connection, and unmet needs — with a focus on strengthening emotional bonds, rebuilding trust, and rediscovering the foundation that brought them together in the first place.

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by a deeply personal experience. When my family was faced with a new medical diagnosis, the ripple effects touched every part of our lives. As a mother, I felt the weight of managing not just the logistics, but the emotional strain — trying to hold space for everyone while quietly carrying my own questions, fears, and hopes. That season was pivotal for me. I realized just how isolating it can feel to navigate medical news, complications, or chronic conditions — especially when the world around you keeps moving. It became clear to me that families need more support, more understanding, and more spaces to process the emotional impact of what they’re going through. That realization became the driving force behind my decision to return to school, complete my bachelor’s degree, and pursue a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy.
